Big hill events whilst in its infancy comes with unmatched event organizing experience from some of the largest mtb events in Australia. Bruce Dickey and Rohin Adams were the driving force behind the successful running of the Ociania, 2003 and 2004 Australian National Championships at Eildon. They have run countless successful state championships, state rounds, club races and recreational riding days. They are both strongly in touch with the riders of the sport and pride themselves on their seamless race organization. Events such as the annual Hard Day At The Office were instigated by their combined efforts and continue to run from strength to strength providing the clubs main revenue for each year. They are both still members of the Fat Tyre Flyer committee committed to seeing that club racing stays as successful as it has been during their time there. They both continue to race at the top of their respective classes in Super Masters and Elite.
They have been present at many European mtb world cup XC rounds, marathon rounds and the 2006 World championships taking in the best aspects from each of them to help in any events they run. Rohins trips to race European marathons in 2005 and 2006 has an invaluable knowledge base that will ensure this event is as successful as the international giant races he can now claim to have conquered.
