About Big Hill Events
Big Hill Events is a Melbourne based mountain bike events company that prides its on giving back to the riders. Its focus is on the highest quality events that provide everything any rider could possibly want during an event. It shows that Big Hill events core organizational structure are still competing themselves.
Big Hill Events ran two very successful mountain bike marathons in 2007 and 2008 starting from the town of Wandong. In 2009 just 6 weeks before the event date the devastating Black Saturday bush fires destroyed what was to be the 2009 Felt MTBA marathon championships race course. The 2008 Wandong event was evidence that Big Hill Events are a professional event company capable of running large mountain biking events. Following the 2007 Wandong event, the significant prize pool was highly praised by riders and future events will be no exception. Big Hill Events has taken marathon racing in Australia to a new level and a noticeable part of this is that all races are fully catered.
