Race Director’s Report
Congratulations! On Sunday you took part in Australia’s hardest mtb marathon to date, the 2010 Nemisis Marathon Challenge.  To those who won, finished or just plain ol’ did their very best – well done!    There has certainly been a lot of talk about the course – some love it, some hate it and some still can’t feel their legs.  Many, many hours were put into the course and many, many more will be put in before next year’s event.

Thank you to those riders who have asked about the injured rider who was airlifted to hospital on Sunday.  I have been in ongoing contact with Ashley’s family and visited him in hospital today.  He was excited to be heading home this afternoon and is already looking forward to be getting back on the bike in a few months time!
PPS.  Some of you may have passed a truck of toilets as you drove to the event... these were our loos!!!  The truck driver lost two wheels on his way to Avoca.  I promise there will be more toilets next year!
