Sunday 17th March 2013 - Mt Avoca Winery

Great weekend up at Mt Avoca winery for botht the Marathon Challenge and 4.5-ish Enduro. It turned out to be exactly a 4.5 hour enduro due to Peter Kutschera breaking the Marathon Challenge course record on exactly 4 and a half hours.
Congratulations to Dane Keevers who powered through 13 laps, just under the 90ks which Peter had riden in 4:53, and "Roadies in disguise" - Lisa Jacobs and Ryan Moody just beating "OzRiders" James Maebus and Trent Williams with 15 laps. Full lap results can be found on the Marathon Challenge Results page

Big Hill Events will be holding an Enduro at the same time as the popular Marathon Challenge - both events will start at the same time with the Enduro finishing when the first rider returns from the Marathon Challenge - current course record is 4 hours 34 minutes (Achieved by Adrian Jackson in 2012).

Enduro is open as a solo or pairs event and should add a great twist on the notorious hardest mountain bike marathon in Australia.
